Diehl Collision of Bellevue is hiring an experienced Automotive Collision Technician / Auto Body Technician to join their professional collision repair team. This full-time automotive career opportunity is located in Bellevue, Pennsylvania. The role involves performing high-quality repairs to restore damaged vehicles to proper condition, serving customers throughout Bellevue and surrounding Allegheny County communities. Technicians will have access to modern repair equipment and a professional facility.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician, Collision Technician, Body Shop Technician, Automotive Body Technician, or Collision Repair Technician
  • Experience with collision repair and vehicle disassembly/reassembly
  • Knowledge of structural and cosmetic automotive repairs
  • Welding and metal repair experience
  • Ability to properly use collision repair tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and follow repair estimates and repair procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy collision repair environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Dependable attendance and a professional attitude

Nice To Haves

  • I-CAR, ASE, manufacturer, or other collision repair certifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform automotive collision and body repairs according to repair procedures
  • Repair vehicles involved in minor and major collisions
  • Remove and replace damaged body panels and components
  • Perform dent repair and metal straightening
  • Complete structural and frame repairs as required
  • Perform welding and related metal repair procedures
  • Repair or replace bumpers, fenders, doors, quarter panels, hoods, and other components
  • Disassemble vehicles and identify additional or hidden collision damage
  • Work from repair estimates and approved repair plans
  • Verify proper fit, alignment, and operation of repaired components
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and industry standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate with estimators, parts personnel, painters, and management throughout the repair process
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety
