About The Position

As the Collision Shop Porter, you will play an important role in keeping our collision center operating efficiently by supporting the production team and ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for each stage of the repair process. This is an entry-level position that provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the collision repair industry. Through hard work, reliability, and a willingness to learn, employees have opportunities to advance into positions such as Collision Buffer, Technician Apprentice, Painter Apprentice, and other collision center roles. You are a team player with eagerness to learn, grow, and win.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Performing quality control inspections throughout the repair process.
Washing and cleaning vehicles before and after repairs.
Moving customer vehicles safely throughout the collision center and dealership.
Performing pre- and post-repair vehicle scans as directed.
Driving courtesy vehicles to transport customers and dealership personnel.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Assisting technicians, estimators, painters, and production staff as needed to support workflow and delivery schedules.
Protecting customer vehicles with seat covers, floor mats, and other protective materials.
Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Participating in ongoing training and professional development related to collision repair, vehicle technology, workplace safety, and customer service.
Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement by applying new skills, processes, and quality standards learned through training and coaching.
