About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Cashier/Receptionist at Napleton's Mid Rivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. This customer-facing role is responsible for handling transactions, calculating bills, and processing payments. The ideal candidate is accurate and customer-focused. The company is affiliated with more than 25 vehicle brands and 50+ dealerships across seven states, with more than 3,500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculate customer bills using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets, repair orders, and sales deposits; verify them against cash, checks, and credit card payments on hand at the end of the shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
