Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• High productivity while maintaining high quality work
• Ability to work well with co-workers
• Strong detail orientation
• Ability to understand manufacturer’s specifications
• 5+ years of body technician experience
• Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require bending, standing, lifting, and reaching.

Nice To Haves

• automotive collision training highly preferred
• Collision experience is preferred, but we will consider graduates from respected automotive collision programs as well.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating collision damage and performing body repair on vehicles.
• Testing and checking vehicles to determine the amount of structural, body, mechanical and interior damage.
• Working with the estimator to determine the cost of the repair.
• Straightening bent bodies, replacing body parts, removing dents and damaged panels and refinishing the metal using a variety of tools.
