About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Body Shop Estimator to join our team in Vineland, NJ. As an Automotive Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing detailed repair estimates. You will provide excellent customer service by guiding customers through the repair process, maintaining communication with insurance companies, and overseeing the repair workflow to ensure quality results. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Body Shop experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
  • Estimator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their needs with empathy and professionalism.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with customers and Body Shop Technicians to determine necessary repairs.
  • Prepare accurate labor and parts estimates according to insurance company guidelines.
  • Enter detailed, itemized estimates into repair orders and explain them clearly to customers.
  • Maintain an organized workload and manage dispatching tasks efficiently.
  • Provide customers with regular updates throughout the repair process.
  • Perform quality control inspections before vehicle delivery.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above established standards.
  • Adhere to insurance policies and procedures related to estimations and repairs.
  • Support Body Shop operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
