About The Position

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for handling inbound and outbound communications with sales and service customers, utilizing CRM tools to track and manage leads, and setting appointments that drive dealership traffic. You’ll play a key role in shaping the customer experience and ensuring every lead receives prompt and professional follow-up.

Requirements

• Previous customer service and/or call center experience required
• Strong computer and CRM skills
• Ability to learn and work within dealership systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• A positive, team-player attitude with an enthusiastic and friendly personality
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Self-motivated with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations

Nice To Haves

• Automotive experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, phone calls, and live chat inquiries
• Make outbound calls to follow up on unsold leads, missed appointments, and prior customer interest
• Use CRM software to manage customer data, track communications, and schedule appointments
• Follow custom scripts, email templates, and best practices to communicate consistently and effectively
• Nurture leads who aren’t yet ready to buy with follow-up outreach and check-ins
• Collaborate with sales, service, and management teams to coordinate handoffs and ensure lead quality
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and dealership offerings
• Deliver an exceptional first impression
