About The Position

Fowler Volkswagen is looking for a hard-working, dedicated Automotive Apprentice Technician for our growing Service Department. This role works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs. The apprentice will also assist the assigned technician as needed and perform safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
• No Experience Necessary willing to train
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.
• Assists assigned technician as needed.
• Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
