About The Position

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join their team at one of their state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Alton, IL area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States with over 2,000 retail locations. Automotive Alignment Technicians are responsible for using the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. This involves measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Additionally, Alignment Technicians complete state-mandated inspections, perform oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position

Nice To Haves

Possess a state inspection license

Responsibilities
