Automotive Alignment Technicians
About The Position
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join its team at an automotive service, repair, and tire sales center in the Melbourne, Florida area. The company operates more than 4,000 retail locations across the United States. Alignment Technicians use modern equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels. They measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and help vehicles travel straight. They also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services and vehicle repairs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have one year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires, or a combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job duties.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
- Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- A state inspection license is preferred.
