Automotive Alignment Technicians
About The Position
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians for its automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Pooler, Georgia area. Technicians use current equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels by measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles, helping reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight. They also perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services and vehicle repairs. The role involves active physical work, including regularly lifting or moving items weighing over 50 pounds. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Have one year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job duties.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, and reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
- Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
