About The Position

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians at automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Norcross, Georgia area. Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels by measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles. This work helps reduce tire wear and ensures serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Technicians also perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services and vehicle repairs. The role is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repeated movements associated with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Technicians regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have one year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires, or a combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the position's duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to perform the active physical duties of vehicle and tire maintenance and repair, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repeated movements.
Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

A state inspection license is preferred.
