About The Position

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians for its automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Lady's Island, South Carolina area. Technicians use modern equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels by measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles, helping reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight. The position also includes state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other automotive services and vehicle repairs as required.

This active role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements associated with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have one year of experience and/or training in tire dismounting, mounting, rotation, and balancing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job duties.
• Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including regularly lifting and/or moving items weighing over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• A state inspection license is preferred.
