Automotive ADAS Calibration Technician
About The Position
MAS is seeking skilled Automotive ADAS Technicians to join its growing team. Technicians serve as the face of the company and handle customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoice generation, inventory control, and service vehicle maintenance. The position involves diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis, wiring repairs, and advising shops about necessary repairs. Technicians also manage stock and equipment, process invoices and payments, and collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs. Requirements
- Knowledge of OE scan tools.
- Ability to learn new tools as needed.
- Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
- Ability to service A/C systems.
- Automotive diagnostic skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets, and messaging systems.
- Willingness and ability to update job knowledge through educational opportunities, technical publications, and similar resources.
- High school degree or GED equivalent.
- 4–10 years of related service technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Determine testing and analysis needs by communicating with shop representatives, and review repair estimates.
- Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and analysis.
- Perform wiring repairs.
- Advise shops of needed repairs.
- Maintain inventory, communicate needed orders to support staff, and verify order receipts.
- Write, print, and email service invoices.
- Collect signatures or payment for work performed.
- Deliver completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner.
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, advising management of repairs, and keeping Google Drive up to date.
- Collaborate with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule and complete jobs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
