Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, including accrual accounting.
Experience with account reconciliations.
Understanding of job costing concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Automotive dealership accounting experience.
Experience with dealership management systems (DMS).
Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting compliance.

Responsibilities

Reconciling accounts and researching discrepancies.
Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions.
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Auditing inventory and floorplan accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reports.
Working closely with multiple departments to resolve accounting questions and improve processes.
Assisting with job costing and other accounting functions as needed.
Performing additional accounting and administrative duties to support the finance team.
