About The Position

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is growing, and we are looking for experienced, detail-oriented Automotive Deal Clerks / Accounting Clerks to join our Business Office teams at multiple locations throughout the region. With 24 dealerships, 14 Collision Centers, and 18 automotive brands across Delmarva and beyond, Hertrich offers the stability of an established, family-owned organization combined with opportunities to grow your career. Requirements

• Automotive dealership accounting or deal-processing experience preferred
• Deal Clerk, Accounting Clerk, AP/AR, or similar experience a plus
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Process and review automotive deals for accuracy and completeness
• Verify deal documentation, funding, and required paperwork
• Process Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
• Post vehicle sales and reconcile deal-related schedules
• Process invoices, payments, and accounting transactions
• Reconcile warranty claims, rebates, inventory, and other accounts
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Work closely with dealership management, sales, finance, and accounting teams
• Provide additional Business Office support as needed
