Requirements

  • Prior accounting experience required; dealership experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of DMV titling processes and regulations is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn and assist across departments
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Close out parts and service transactions daily and prepare deposits and merchant services reporting
  • Purchase in new vehicles, including pre-shippers, invoices, and Manufacturer’s Statements of Origin (MSOs)
  • Maintain and manage Perma Plate contracts and documentation
  • Post driver payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Cross-train and provide support for tag and title processing
  • Cross-train and assist with billing functions as needed
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and coordinate ordering
  • Assist with end-of-month (EOM) accounting procedures and reconciliations
  • Support the accounting team with clerical and data entry tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support accounting and dealership operations
