Requirements

Certified 310S Automotive service technician (the trade certification to meet provincial requirements.)
Maintains all relevant Licences and Qualifications to perform duties.
Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility.
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.
Ability to drive manual transmission is required for this role.
Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Nice To Haves

VW/Audi experience is preferrable.

Responsibilities

Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned.
Performs vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
Documents all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles as required.
Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
Attends all training courses as requested by service management.
Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians.
