About The Position

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge automation technologies while supporting real engineering projects. Robotics & Vision Systems Assist engineers with programming, testing, and debugging robotic systems Help configure and test machine vision systems used for inspection, guidance, and automation Support integration of robots, conveyors, vision systems, and automated material handling equipment Participate in equipment validation, system testing, and troubleshooting Automation & Engineering Projects Support development and modification of automation and machine vision inspection systems Apply programming and sensor technologies to real production challenges Assist with data acquisition, system diagnostics, and automation improvements Document system changes, configuration standards, and engineering updates Present project findings and performance improvements to the engineering team

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in: Mechatronics Engineering Robotics Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Junior, Senior, or recent graduate preferred
  • 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Knowledge of robotics, automation, or embedded control systems
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or C#
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals (loops, conditionals, state machines, error handling)
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, network diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens) preferred
  • Familiarity with machine vision systems, sensors, or optics is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP)
