About The Position

The Automation Test Engineer IV will be responsible for developing manual or automated production test procedures to ensure product reliability and functionality. This role requires ensuring on-time delivery of detailed design and technical support for manufacturing and tests, and providing power electronic solutions for products and projects. The engineer will demonstrate analog and digital electronics design knowledge, manage requirements, design, verify, and test power distribution and controls products. They will use their knowledge of the product development lifecycle to provide technical support to the team and the wider business, and utilize technical problem-solving skills to assess problems thoroughly and drive logical conclusions. Support will be provided to the team in resolving technical issues related to current projects, equipment under test, or in-service platforms, and to technicians for various testing activities. The role involves developing automated test programs, specifications, inspections, and documentation for electronics components and replacement parts for nuclear power plant applications. Additionally, the engineer will interface with Sourcing and Quality personnel, as well as suppliers and product departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering from an accredited university/college, equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of power electronics experience in an Engineering position.
  • Prior experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
  • Analog Circuitry.
  • Digital Circuits.
  • LabView.
  • Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).

  • Programming experience in LabView.
  • Experience using automated test systems and writing automated test programs.
  • Experience writing Technical Documents.
