This position is responsible for all Automation and Technology services that are not specifically Government-furnished equipment and services. The technician will work within parameters established by the installation Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and perform Local Network and Help Desk support in accordance with IMCOM ACES guidance, local policy, and site SOP. Additional duties include ensuring information security and assurance policies are followed, developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation, installing patches and updates, providing IAVA compliance reports, maintaining systems in Asset and Vulnerability Tracking Resource (A&VTR), supporting NEC-IA policies, promoting security awareness, performing risk assessments, monitoring compliance with DOD, DA, and NEC directives, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring computers and peripherals are clean and operational, and supporting special events.
