Requirements

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
Experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems and industrial automation in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including drives, control panels and power distribution
Ability to analyse faults, identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Allen-Bradley systems (ControlLogix, RSLogix 5000) and industrial networks is advantageous

Responsibilities

Supporting the operation of automation control systems to maintain safe, reliable and efficient production
Troubleshooting and resolving control system and equipment issues with production and maintenance teams
Performing maintenance and adjustments on automated electrical equipment including PLCs, HMIs, drives and servo systems
Updating control systems documentation and supporting program modifications to improve performance
Working with external vendors to diagnose and resolve complex automation issues
Training colleagues on troubleshooting techniques and safe maintenance practices
