Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Controls, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience with PLC programming, robotics programming, automation systems, or systems integration.
Experience interfacing automation and robotic systems with manufacturing equipment.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and improve automated systems and processes.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plastics manufacturing or injection molding environments.
Experience with GMP, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 13485 standards.
Experience with vision inspection systems.
Experience utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, or similar automation platforms.
Experience supporting manufacturing automation projects from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities

Support the commissioning, qualification, and implementation of automation systems and projects.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve automation, robotics, and controls-related issues.
Develop, maintain, and improve automation processes and procedures.
Manage and support site automation standards while ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
Interface with equipment suppliers, integrators, and internal stakeholders on automation initiatives.
Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics systems, and integrated manufacturing equipment.
Analyze existing processes and recommend automation improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to achieve organizational goals.
Build strong working relationships with leadership and production employees to support a high-quality customer experience.
Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and automation standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
