The machinist, automation, is responsible for welding and fabricating components used in blow mold machine manufacturing. This role involves laying out, fitting, and fabricating steel components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, performing various types of welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) to produce high-quality welds on all products and assemblies. The technician must be able to read and interpret blueprints, product specifications, work instructions, and parts lists, and accurately understand measurements and dimensions. Additionally, the role requires troubleshooting malfunctions, performing repairs, completing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the quality of all fabricated components and assemblies. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
