About The Position

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Automation Technician Trainee to perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of facility automation equipment and infrastructure. The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance by troubleshooting, adjusting, cleaning, and replacing parts as needed. The position is located at Premier in Shafter, California, and works the swing shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. It reports to the Automation Supervisor / Lead.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience as a Packaging Machine Operator – Level 1 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• General computer knowledge in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
