NIGHT SHIFT: 6PM – 6:30AM, Wed – Sat/Th – Sat alternating General Responsibility Leads complex diagnostics, implements improvements, and mentors junior technicians while leveraging CMMS (MicroMain) data for reliability analysis. Includes advanced mechanical work on conveyors, AS/RS, and facilities systems. Partners with engineering and leadership to optimize CMMS (MicroMain) usage and ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards. Includes oversight of mechanical integrity for conveyors, AS/RS, and facilities systems.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in automation/reliability maintenance
  • Experience in Allen-Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), EtherNet/IP, safety PLCs
  • Strong mechanical skills for conveyors, AS/RS, and facilities equipment
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Visual aptitude - must be able to see, with or without correction
  • Communication - ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time
  • Excellent people & communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must freely share knowledge & skills with other personnel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with robotics or vision systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting of PLCs, conveyors, AS/RS, AGVs, and motion systems
  • Perform advanced mechanical repairs including gearbox rebuilds, alignment, and component replacements
  • Implement minor logic/HMI changes under MOC; collaborate with engineers
  • Commission and optimize drives and servo systems
  • Audit PM and CM processes for efficiency and compliance
  • Lead RCAs and develop advanced PM/PdM strategies
  • Train and mentor Tech I–II; support project startups
