Cyclonaire is seeking an Automation Supervisor to lead their Automation and Electrical Design team. This role involves combining technical expertise with strong leadership to guide the team, influence product future, improve engineering processes, and deliver innovative solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience
  • Proven leadership experience within an engineering or automation environment
  • Strong understanding of PLC/HMI development platforms and process control systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet critical project deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley platforms and related automation software
  • Familiarity with CAD systems and engineering workflows
  • Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, power distribution, and control panel design

  • Provide leadership, management, and accountability for the Automation and Electrical Design team.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of automation and electrical design professionals.

  • Provide technical guidance in PLC/HMI programming, process control, CAD systems, and automation technologies.
  • Support design optimization focused on customer experience, equipment performance, and reliability.
  • Oversee automation standards, workflows, and development processes.
  • Serve as a key connection between Engineering and Service teams.
  • Develop SOPs, work instructions, and templates to improve quality and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Facilitate process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, and other departments to deliver successful customer solutions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for diverse audiences.
  • Help ensure seamless integration between automation, electrical, and mechanical systems.
