About The Position

This role involves performing software programming based on established design standards, creating necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation, and developing animated graphics for Building Automation Systems. The technician will also be responsible for commissioning and starting up HVAC Controls Projects, with knowledge of controller wiring connections, building networks, and basic HVAC sensor functionality. Additionally, the position requires attending emergency calls, assisting sales with technical recommendations for job layouts and bid proposals, and adhering to strict safety standards for both employees and subcontractors. The role also includes a willingness to travel outside of Puerto Rico.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electronics or related fields.
• Minimum of three years of experience with installing and/or commissioning controls systems including system-level controllers.
• 3 years’ experience in HVAC controls hardware (i.e. flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, electrical schematics) and software applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools.
• Billingual
