About The Position

Solidgate is seeking a Middle / Senior Automation QA Engineer to join the Integrations team. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the reliability of Solidgate’s payment integrations with global payment providers, including card payments and alternative payment methods (APMs). The engineer will validate payment flows, provider responses, business logic, and error handling to guarantee reliable integration performance across various scenarios. This is an automation-first environment where every engineer contributes to quality, and the role requires a true engineer with a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in test automation and programming
Strong knowledge of Java
Hands-on experience with TestNG, Selenide, Retrofit, Test Management Systems (TMS)
Solid background in API and UI test automation
High level of ownership and independence
Initiative and readiness to improve processes and tooling

Nice To Haves

Background in Fintech, especially in payments, billing, or financial processing

Responsibilities

Define test coverage scope by analyzing functional requirements, risks, and technical specifications to prioritize efforts on critical product aspects.
Develop meaningful test artifacts, including comprehensive and logical automation plans and test scenarios, to ensure coverage of key functional areas and identify critical defects.
Build fast and reliable automated tests, designing and implementing stable, non-flaky automated tests that provide timely feedback within the Continuous Integration (CI) process.
Maintain the automation test suite’s relevance by regularly updating and adapting existing automated tests according to product changes and continuously improving their reliability.
Evolve the automation stack by implementing new tools, optimizing the current framework, and enhancing the speed and usability of test operations.
Ensure product quality confidence by providing the team with timely and relevant information on the current product status, enabling the release of new features with a high level of confidence.
