About The Position
This role supports shutdown planning, system cutovers, and startup activities to minimize operational impact. The consultant will provide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years of project management experience in automation, controls, or IT systems within pharma/life sciences manufacturing environments
- Proven experience managing automation upgrade or obsolescence (EOSL) projects
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs (e.g., PanelView), SCADA systems, and industrial automation infrastructure
- Familiarity with change control, risk management, and lifecycle management practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to be on-site, full-time in Mount Vernon, IN
Nice To Haves
- Experience with validation processes (CSV) and regulated environments is highly preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
