About The Position

As a Welding Automation Sales Specialist, you will be the expert in the field, supporting our teams in the Eastern Coast Region, through problem-solving, training, and collaboration with customers and distributors. You will leverage your understanding of our full welding product portfolio to identify growth opportunities and present value-driven solutions that demonstrate measurable customer improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in welding or a related industry, with experience in robotics, controls, and advanced welding processes.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and CRM system
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 50 - 75%

Responsibilities

  • Drive automation sales growth and brand preference by collaborating with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on strategic account planning to secure end-user business.
  • Develop impactful presentations and product demos to showcase solution value.
  • Maintain clear communication with sales, distributors, end-users, and divisions.
  • Partner with divisional resources to share insights on competition, innovation, and customer needs.
  • Manage your territory efficiently by focusing on key accounts and activities using an 80/20 approach.
  • Manage project scopes and timelines to align with business goals.
  • Provide expertise in robotic welding applications and automated welding systems, helping customers optimize process performance.
  • Support customers and integrators with system setup, parameter selection, process optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure stable, high‑quality automated welds.
  • Deliver training, demonstrations, and ongoing technical support to end users, OEMs, and distribution partners on robotic welding capabilities, best practices, and solution recommendations.
