About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active CA State Pharmacy Technician Registration/License (where required).
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, CPhT, or ExCPT).
- Working Knowledge or familiarity with pharmacy automation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- 1+ year of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
- 1+ year of experience working with pharmacy automation technology.
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain Omnicell XR2 automation systems.
- Manage medication inventory, including restocking, returns, and formulary optimization.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and escalate unresolved technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with pharmacy staff to support efficient workflows and exceptional customer service.
- Train users on system functionality and best practices.
- Serve as a resource for customers and team members.
- Maintain required pharmacy technician certifications and licenses.
