About The Position

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Design Engineer with field experience to work out of our Sugar Grove, IL plant. This is an in-person position. We are looking for motivated self-starters to join our growing team. Neyret, Inc, part of Neyret Group, is a world class machine builder/integrator specialized in the design and manufacture of custom assembly machines for various industries including medical, dental, automotive, cosmetic and more. In house capabilities include machine design, parts fabrication, machine assembly, PLC programming, electrical and pneumatic assembly.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology (or similar related degree)
3 - 5 years related job experience
Valid Driver’s License
Proficient with MS Office, SolidWorks (2025)
Must have the ability to measure and model new and existing mechanical components
Be U.S. work authorized. No VISA sponsorship is available for this role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software
Background in automation engineering

Responsibilities

Produce, review, and update mechanical designs and drawings in accordance with required specifications, standards, customer comments, and internal design models
Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments
Oversee the entire lifecycle of the machine design process, from planning and design to testing and implementation
Lead collaborative discussions between leadership and key stakeholders to determine automation capabilities and goals
Maintain customer correspondence including approvals, changes, agreements and transmittals
Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades
Other engineering/manufacturing related tasks as deemed appropriate by management
