At Alcon in Johns Creek, GA, you’ll keep sophisticated automated lines running so we can deliver life-changing eye care products. If you love diagnostics, hands-on repair, and continuous improvement, this is your arena. Your challenge Tackle complex faults across mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and controls. Own preventive and corrective maintenance while strengthening predictive and spare-parts systems. Be a resource for teammates—support production staff and fellow techs with practical know-how. Rebuild worn parts to “as built” standards in the repair shop to reduce costs. Contribute to retrofits and upgrades; refine SOPs and shop repair instructions. Drive optimizations that elevate product quality, throughput, yield, and cost efficiency. Assist with validation protocols to keep changes compliant and reliable.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Confident reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
  • Comfort with a 12-hour rotating night shift: 6:30 PM–6:30 AM EST, 2 nights on/2 nights off, every other weekend (36–48 hours/week).
