About The Position

The IT department is seeking a technically curious and self-motivated individual to take on a specialized role focused on automating and streamlining manual business processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving complex problems, and building smart, sustainable solutions using a mix of scripting, automation tools, and data integration techniques. This is a solo technical role - you won't be managing people, but you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions that make a real impact across departments.

Requirements

Experience with Power Automate (Cloud) or similar workflow tools.
Proficiency in Python scripting.
Understanding of JSON and working with APIs.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

Nice To Haves

Experience with web scraping.
Exposure to Power Apps and Power BI.
Knowledge of Dataverse and Microsoft 365 integrations.
Experience generating automated visualizations using Python libraries.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate (Cloud).
Develop Python scripts to: Scrape data from web pages. Generate automated dashboard images. Perform scheduled or event-driven tasks.
Work with REST APIs and JSON to retrieve and process external data.
Query and update data in Microsoft SQL Server and Dataverse.
Support and enhance Power Apps and Power BI integrations that rely on automated data flows.
Document processes and collaborate with IT and business users to ensure solutions are effective and maintainable
