Our organization is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician Automation. A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

Requirements

  • Identify and communicate risk immediately
  • Team oriented
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Possess solid electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to meet timelines
  • Ability to work with tools, hand cart and lift up to 5O lbs; ability to obtain a fork lift and scissor lift license
  • Identify and eliminate waste to improve productivity
  • Results oriented; Exceeds goals and pushes self and team
  • Must be very mechanically inclined.
  • Must be willing and able to periodically be called in to support off-shift machine downtime events.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Formal training in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics highly preferred
  • Ability to travel periodically for training and continuing education
  • Welding/Fabrication experience preferred
  • Basic Computer competency and ability to learn machine specific software.
  • Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a 'Driver' as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead, Execute and Schedule the preventative maintenance program for all automated equipment.
  • Responsible for performing repairs on machinery, parts procurement, and coordinating service visits.
  • Train, mentor, and otherwise support the maintenance team in maintaining complex equipment.
  • Coordinate operator maintenance with production management.
  • Ensures compliance with Adrian policies and procedures
  • Specify, order, and create storage locations for critical spare parts.
  • Maintain Trumpf consumables in the vending machine and monitor usage.
  • Perform normal equipment, facilities, and grounds maintenance as required.
  • Perform bench work and other duties as required.
