Join a Sustainability-Driven Innovator Novolex designs and manufactures solutions across paper, plastic, and sustainable materials. Our commitment to sustainability spans three pillars—products, operations, and people—fueling our growth and shaping how we work every day. Your Impact Help a fast-paced manufacturing operation run flawlessly by owning the health of its electrical and electronic control systems. Partner with engineers, operators, and fellow maintenance pros to resolve issues quickly, elevate equipment performance, and continuously improve processes. What You’ll Tackle Maintenance spectrum: corrective, preventive, upgrades, new installs, and facility changes—meticulously documented in writing or via CMMS, including parts usage. Controls troubleshooting: PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, AC/DC drives, temperature controls, and computer-based systems. Production support: repairs and upgrades that protect throughput, quality, and safety. Programming and setup: configure equipment to meet exact product specifications. Documentation: draft and refine work instructions and process-flow documents. Advanced controls: implement and troubleshoot PLC/HMI/VFD programs and transfers. Electro-mechanical expertise: assemble/disassemble, diagnose, and maintain automated and manual systems using schematics, drawings, and verbal/written guidance. Electrical installation: bend and run conduit, mount boxes, pull feeders, and terminate circuits. Bench diagnostics: rebuild and test offline parts and equipment for spares; red-tag and escalate when replacement or vendor repair is needed. Execution: work safely, precisely, and independently—performing under pressure when uptime is at stake. Bring These Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Certification, or 3+ years as an industrial electrician with mechanical experience; manufacturing exposure preferred. Strong knowledge of 120/277/480 VAC and 3‑phase power distribution and wiring methods. PLC background; Allen‑Bradley and RSLogix familiarity is a plus. Hands-on with VFDs, DC, and servo drive systems. Process control capability: 4–20 mA loops, positioning feedback, and analog controls. Experience with temperature control systems. Comprehensive understanding of industrial electrical maintenance practices. Exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems. How You’ll Grow Every improvement you implement—from a smarter PLC routine to a refined work instruction—strengthens our lines and accelerates your technical trajectory within a team that values craftsmanship and continuous learning.
