About The Position

We have the following shift available: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (1st Shift). This role involves operating and maintaining a wide variety of warehouse equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment by applying electro-mechanical knowledge. The goal is to maintain production equipment to meet Ferguson standards, minimize downtime, and ensure a clean, safe, and accident-free facility. The position also includes researching and recommending new maintenance equipment and tools, adhering to company compliance and HSE policies, and maintaining regular and reliable attendance. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a wide variety of warehouse equipment including AutoStore ASRS, various Packsize systems, and Sealed Air units.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all equipment by applying electro-mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
  • Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets Ferguson standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to improve the capabilities of the maintenance team.
  • Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
