Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology) is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment, preferably with automated equipment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using common hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, noisy).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on automated production equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions, diagnosing issues and performing corrective actions under supervision.
  • Assist senior technicians and engineers with complex repairs, installations, and modifications of automation systems.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Identify and report potential equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with production operators and other maintenance team members.
