About The Position

Madisonville Community College is seeking a full-time instructor position within the Automation and Industrial Technology program. The successful candidate will assume a faculty role in the development and delivery of online program-related courses and hands-on laboratory exercises for traditional, non-traditional, and high school dual-credit students.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science degree in a related field with three to five years of industrial experience across multiple disciplines to include but not limited to electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and mechanical concepts; engineering controls, programmable logic controllers, robotics, and engineering schematics.
• Excellent computer skills and excellent communication/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Teaching assignment includes Automation and Industrial Technology courses and may include face-to-face day and evening, hybrid, accelerated, and online delivery modalities.
• Faculty responsibilities include advising, committee work and other institutional services, community service, and professional development.
• The successful candidate must possess a strong commitment to student learning and will be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
• In addition, candidates should demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept.
