The Automation Engineering Technician supports Engineering with equipment fabrication, installation, validation/qualification, and modifications. The Automation Engineering Technician evaluates and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, parts, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Our engineers are constantly learning new technologies in order to continually provide cutting-edge solutions. The Automation Engineering Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on new and existing manufacturing equipment. They also develop and maintain equipment files. They assist manufacturing associates in equipment set-up and set-up simplification projects to support production.
