About The Position

The Automation Engineering Supervisor leads a team of Automation Technicians supporting industrial automation, electrical controls, and robotic systems at Seaboard Foods’ Guymon fresh pork processing facility, which processes more than 22,000 animals per day. The supervisor oversees installations, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while coordinating staffing and work assignments to support safe, reliable operations and production needs. The role provides technical leadership for complex equipment and control-system issues, guides PLC and HMI work and robotic-system support, and drives root-cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. It also ensures maintenance records and technical documentation are maintained, work complies with electrical and machine-safety requirements, and communication with operations, maintenance leadership, engineering, and management is effective. The supervisor develops employees, evaluates work performance, and promotes accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. The position is primarily based on the production floor, with limited office time. Work schedules are determined by business and departmental needs; after-hours work, weekends, and overnight travel may be requested.
