Our Automation Engineers work on projects like developing and executing process control system integration projects and performing design, development and testing of electrical equipment and control systems, every day.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of five years' experience in project-based automation and control engineering
  • Experience working in the process-based industries (pharmaceuticals, biotech, food and beverage, and/or specialty chemicals industry
  • Experience in consulting and / or system integration
  • Experience with Rockwell, Emerson, and/or Inductive Automation preferred.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment is a plus
  • Above average skills in planning, organization, time management and meeting clear standards and objectives
  • Ability to be highly focused, self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to practice proactive communication (both written and verbal) with colleagues, supervisors and clients.
  • Ability to utilize past learning to understand and handle new situations and accept change as a challenge.
  • Ability to make independent decisions (when required).
  • Knowledge of: Process Control and Information System Design / Development
  • PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and Network Configuration
  • Electrical Design and Instrumentation Specification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Rockwell, Emerson, and/or Inductive Automation preferred.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Program PLC's and handle HMI configuration and design
  • Work on Commissioning, Troubleshooting/Testing/Debugging
  • Handle Project Documentation
  • Assist with quoting projects
  • Write specifications, schedules and technical reports
  • Interface with the client on technical matters
  • Assist with estimates and proposals
