About The Position

The Automation/Robotics/Controls Engineer will design and integrate automated systems and processes, including robotics, to improve efficiency and productivity for mass production lines in a manufacturing environment. This role involves designing and developing robotics systems, programming and testing robots for proper and safe function, and building, configuring, and troubleshooting robotic systems and software. The engineer will also document detailed robot design specifications, produce technical reports, analyze data from robot tests and deployments, and update existing robotic systems. Collaboration with other engineers and stakeholders is key, as is staying current with robotics technology advancements and adhering to safety regulations. Technical support and training for end-users are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or closely related field
7-10 years of engineering experience related to automation
Experience implementing new automation projects

Responsibilities

Designing and developing robotics systems.
Programming and testing robots to ensure they function properly and safely.
Building, configuring, and troubleshooting robotic systems and software.
Documenting detailed robot design specifications and support in the production of technical reports.
Analyzing and interpreting data from robot tests and real-world deployments.
Updating and modifying existing robotic systems to expand their capabilities and improve performance.
Working collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to meet project goals.
Staying informed about the latest advancements in robotics technology and implementing new design concepts.
Adhering to safety regulations in all stages of project development and implementation.
Providing technical support and training for end users of robotic systems.
