Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or other relevant Engineering discipline).
  • 4+ years of PLC programming experience, preferably using Siemens.
  • Experience programming PLCs in a high-speed automotive environment.
  • Experience using IntelliAim by Dajac.
  • Experience with Variable Voltage/Variable Frequency Drivers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience programming of robotic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements, legal regulations, and internal specifications to develop Testing strategies for products.
  • Develop EOLT (End of Line Testing) specifications for new equipment (Hardware & Software).
  • Design and develop complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure product functionality and integrity in the electrical and programming domains.
  • Analyze test cases and failures, providing scenarios and proposing actions based on results.
  • Review product SW and Test Methodology/Coverage during DFT (Design for Testability) Design Review, interacting with R&D.
  • Potentially develop and improve functional Tester software.
  • Review the development of functional testers, including technical issues and planning.
  • Collaborate with the Software Validation Team to ensure complete test coverage of all requirements.
  • Analyze customer specifications, legal requirements, and internal specifications for the development of electronic test plans.
  • Support the creation of test equipment specifications and tester hardware specifications for automated test rack systems.
  • Perform validation of capabilities, test coverage, and stability performance of testers.
  • Monitor testing TLR (Test Level Requirements), analyze defects, and propose action plans for reduction.
  • Validate PG RAISE and CdC (Conformité et Contrôle) standards created by M/D Standard Owners.
  • Validate any standard changes proposed by sites for new investments in testing equipment.
  • Validate the assembly line included in each CAA (Cellule d'Assemblage Automatisée) in terms of concept, cycle time, and investment values.
  • Contribute to product & process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), assisting Testing technicians in daily activities.
  • Support the transition of newly developed processes into series production, providing process/equipment specifications and qualification.
  • Define activities for integrating testing equipment into more complex manufacturing cells.
  • Conduct surveys of equipment with a continuous improvement and cost reduction mindset to optimize investments, material, and labor costs.
  • Develop cross-project industrial competence.
  • Promote Valeo Industrial standard rules and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Valeo Group's Safety and Environment procedures.
