About The Position

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced automation engineer for the management of system infrastructure and applications. As an automation engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications. Requirements

6+ years of experience with supporting DoD or government agencies
3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell
Knowledge of Agile development
Knowledge of automation tools including Ansible, version control systems including Git, operating systems including RHEL and Windows, and virtualization including VMware
Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
Experience with application containerization
Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML
Experience with network automation in Python and Ansible
Knowledge of networking principles and concepts
Knowledge of API design and object-oriented principles

Responsibilities

Develop and implement automation solutions.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of infrastructure and applications.
Support the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms.
Develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
