About The Position

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team in the Denver metropolitan area. This full-time position involves working with building and industrial automation systems, requiring a strong understanding of PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms, programming languages, and electrical/instrumentation systems. The role demands a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or technical degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in building and/or industrial automation.
• Basic knowledge of programming to include Rockwell Automation, and/or Schneider Electric PLC / HMI / SCADA platforms.
• Proficient in using Fluke digital multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers for diagnosing electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Proficient in trouble shooting instrumentation issues, including signal loss, sensor calibration, and loop integrity verification.
• Knowledge of automation control loops, field IO, P&IDs.
• Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Systems (MEP).
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with Python, Java, C/C++ and PLC / HMI.
• CODESYS – based PLC Platforms.
• AI / MQTT integration with PLCs, HMIs, or IIoT platforms.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and/or work with industrial automation systems.
• Utilize programming knowledge of Rockwell Automation, and/or Schneider Electric PLC / HMI / SCADA platforms.
• Apply proficiency in Python, Java, C/C++ and PLC / HMI.
• Integrate AI / MQTT with PLCs, HMIs, or IIoT platforms.
• Diagnose electrical and instrumentation systems using Fluke digital multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues, including signal loss, sensor calibration, and loop integrity verification.
• Apply knowledge of automation control loops, field IO, P&IDs, and Mechanical & Electrical Systems (MEP).
• Utilize AutoCAD Electrical experience.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (50-60% travel).
