About The Position
The Automation Engineer (Robotics) supports Triton manufacturing operations by designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining robotic and automated systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industrial robotics experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- FANUC and PLC programming experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot industrial robots including FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, KUKA, and Universal Robots.
- Develop robotic welding, material handling, machine tending, and palletizing applications.
- Support robotic cell installations and commissioning.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics and controls documentation.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual manufacturing processes.
- Design and implement solutions that improve throughput, quality, and safety.
- Provide daily support for robotic and automated equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Reduce scrap, labor costs, and downtime through automation.
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Manage automation projects from concept through implementation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI/RIA safety standards.
