About The Position

Based at our South Service Center, you'll play a critical role in programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced automation solutions for the utility sector. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in engineering or engineering technology
• 2-5 years' utility sector experience
• Proficiency in Transmission/Distribution protection and controls, relay testing, and smart grid device configuration
• Hands-on experience with relays, RTUs, gateways, or similar devices

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with IED management solutions and substation networking
• Experience with substation IP connectivity

Responsibilities

• Program RTUs and develop comprehensive points lists to support system reliability and efficiency
• Troubleshoot SCADA system issues, ensuring smooth and secure operations
• Support automation initiatives, including substation IP connectivity and IED management solutions
• Develop, maintain, and optimize scripting tasks for enhanced substation automation
• Collaborate closely with engineering and compliance teams to implement industry-leading standards and practices
• Drive innovation by contributing to the development of new solutions for transmission automation
