The Automation Engineer 3's primary responsibilities are designing, building, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, APIs, and related technologies. This role leads automation solutions end-to-end, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support. The engineer will partner with business stakeholders to assess automation opportunities, define requirements, document scope, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. They will also provide effective production support, including accurate problem identification, root cause analysis, ticket documentation, issue resolution, and customer/vendor dialogue. The role requires creating and optimizing business process automations using Power Automate, designing and managing custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), and developing AI-powered chatbots using Microsoft Copilot Studio. The engineer will leverage Copilot Studio to create conversational experiences that integrate with back-end systems and design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions. They will also integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other services, apply automation development best practices, and stay current with new features and roadmap developments across Power Platform and Microsoft AI capabilities.
