About The Position

Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications. This role requires basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process. Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works with close supervision and performs manual tasks according to established procedures.

Requirements

Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assists with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
Supporting or performing the program installation, testing, and maintenance of robots or automated components.
Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
Investigates and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance.
Maintains the inventory of supplies and tools used for testing and maintenance.
